| I've changed the enconding for the XML file to UTF-8 to cater for the special characters in some programmes. I've also fixed the sub-title grabbing. If anyone's got issues with these changes, especially the UTF-8 change, let me know. |

| I've updated the XMLTV to now include episode numbering according to the xmltv_ns spec (with some changes) and episode titles where available. The changes to xmltv_ns was to NOT make use of the zero indexed numbering scheme since it didn't make sense for ongoing series that are numbered by the year of production. The soapies and sport programmes tend to do this. As usual, if there are problems, let me know. |

| You might have noticed a few updates in the past week. That's because I rewrote the grabber and parser from scratch in .NET. It's taken a few iterations, but the new grabber and parser is much more flexible than the previous one. There are still small changes that I want to make in the weeks to come. I've updated the channels list to include all channels that I could map to decoder channel numbers. I'm very impressed with mono, didn't have any problem executing the .NET code on my linux box. Anyways, if you pick up issues with the new XML. Please let me know so I can have a look at it. |
